She's a grad student doing research at MGH (Massachusetts General Hospial) and it's her bedroom which will be available. Another bedroom is rented to a young couple (boy & girl) from France. They're grad students doing a work internship in marketing in Boston. And the third bedroom is rented to a nice guy who works full time. Many previous housemates have been at HMS, MGH, MIT. We`re just a nine to ten minute walk to Davis Square and the Red Line T. From Davis, it`s easy & quick to go to MIT, Harvard, downtown Boston and MGH (Massachusetts General Hospital). Tufts University is a very short walk from the house. In addition to the three bedrooms there is a fully-applianced, custom cabinet kitchen, nicely furnished dining room and living room, a large, modern bathroom with plenty of storage, a back deck with table and chairs and an enclosed front porch overlooking a very pleasant park with lots of trees and grassy rolling hills which helps create a very beautiful and friendly location which cannot be underestimated. You’ll find people enjoying the park with an afternoon lunch, early morning Tai Chi, frisbee, strolling along with a baby carriage, walking their dog, reading on a park bench, or just catching some sun. In the winter it's fun to watch the little kids sled down the small hills. The $900 rent includes a beautifully furnished room about 13x13 with two windows, gorgeous hardwood floors and a large, walk-in closet. It's furnished with a queen bed with linen, blankets and pillows; bedside cabinet, IKEA dresser, two bookcases, computer desk, office chair, window blinds and curtains, area rugs, window air conditioner and a new 22" HD tv with lots of cable channels plus dvd player! Our emphasis is on providing a casual, friendly environment. I'm a consultant and an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at Boston University; my wife is an Energy Restructuring Therapist. We have a room available on Nov 1st for $635/month. This includes monthly room cleaning and ALL UTILITIES: heat & electricity, phone service, and high-speed wireless internet access, however, there is a $50 energy surcharge in the summer (July/August) and winter (Dec/Jan/Feb) A washer/dryer is available in the house as well.
